Here in Germany there are some tests running on DVB-C2. Will these cards support the new standard by running the combined DVB-T2/T/C driver ?

Are there any advantages to using the 6285 over the 6284 (particularly within Linux) I mean, is tuning faster, for example?

I noticed TBS6285 has been released already and available for sale.

As the TBS6285 has just been announced through BuyDVB newsletter, is it correct to assume, that the 6281 will feature the same changes? Most importantly perhaps the change from a Samsung Tuner module to one by Siliconlab (Si2158+Si2168; oh, and there's a typo in the newsletter "Silicom" ).
Also -if that's true- the power consumption will be reduced - from TBS6284 to TBS6285 by 30% (according to the newsletter).

The new cards do seem exciting... am looking forward to TBS6281 too.
