TBS6928 and paytv

Quote from product overview: "On Linux platform, you can also watch paytv by using correct software." Anyone know what this means? My computer runs Linux and want to make sure I have the correct software. I am in the U.S. Also, if you have any other info I'd appreciate knowing how to set it up so I can stream from the computer to our HDTV (which has both wireless and wired connection and can already do internet, etc.), or the various Blu-ray players, X-Boxes, Play-stations, Wii's etc in our household.

Oh, one other question about the TBS6928, it looks as though it does not have a lot of the capability as the TBS6925 (16k and 32k). Can it do 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0? Is this doen in the computer instead? How would this work?

All decoding of video, no matter the type, is done on the computer no matter the card.

The 6925/5925 can do acm/vcm as well as mis, the audio video format had nothing to-do with the card

Thanks updatelee, so, what about the question regarding the quote regarding paytv: "On Linux platform, you can also watch paytv by using correct software." What does that mean? Which software? does it mean I don't need the CAM/card, and just the software?
