Hello, a few days ago I bought a TBS 5925. As technical specifications says, Linux drivers are "provided", but they are not present in the CD. Anybody knows how can I get them?
Go to download section, you can find it in the header of this forum. Search an go to TBS5925, click in downloan and choose the driver that you need. Best regards.
Hello Sergio, thank you for your reply. I already checked that section and Linux drivers for TBS 5925 are not available, they appear as "Not released yet". The CD included with the device only contains Windows drivers, in binary format. Also it has source code, but I don't see the way to build (for 5925) a Linux version of the drivers.
Hi angelcaido46 Sorry for that ,the tbs5925 temporarily does not support linux, We will support the next driver version. We apologize for causing inconvenience to you.
hi All, initially you got very few customers interested in Linux drivers for that device and that's why we put the task of making such drivers as low-priority, i.e. when we have spare time from other more urgent work. so, since more and more people are asking, i will push the priority and without promising some exact release date, i will try to release a driver as soon as possible and in the next few weeks.
I did exactly the same mistake, ordered this device considering that there is a GNU/Linux driver. I'm a Linux kernel driver developer. If you need some help to accelerate the development of the driver, please don't hesitate to ask
