module verification failed: signature and/or required key mi

Postby cinders » Thu Aug 07, 2014 2:43 pm

Can anyone help me?

I'm running a clean install of Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS 64-BIT with 3.13.0-32-generic kernel.

I downloaded the latest driver, v140707 and followed the guide on the wiki with no errors/issues. http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/TBS6284

However, when checking if the driver has loaded I get

tbs6982fe: module verification failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel

Can anyone help or advise me what is wrong?

Thanks,
Cinders.

I have same issue with Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS 64-BIT with 3.13.0-36-generic kernel and latest 140819 drivers But card is TBS6281.
I installed this way:
http://murobbs.plaza.fi/1713073665-post90.html
I think that is correct way.
Then I tried this trick was mentioned here:
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=8232
"apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r` build-essential subversion mercurial openssl gettext libssl-dev screen libv4l-dev"
Then installed driver again, after that also my 2 kernel drivers included other DVB card has disabled.
Then I have unistalled this TBS v4l drivers and reconfigure kernel again. Now at least my other 2 DVB cards works again, but not this TBS card.

Then I tried this:
viewtopic.php?f=52&t=7631#p24903
option tbs62x0fe_driver-dvbc int_type=1
Was wrong type option, no drivers installed?
I have Asus P5KC MB...

I taked two additional cards off, changed from bios PnP OS->OFF.
After that TBS worked, then I added two cards back, then all 3-cards worked.
Still there is shared IRQ 15.
