Hi

As above Fedora 22 x86_64 Kernel 4.1.10-200 (latest this weekend).

Using driver V150728

Machine has both a 6280 and a 6284 card fitted......new build

TBS driver build went as expected with no issues reported........however upon reboot dmesg report:-

The cards and frontends do load and are usable, however there's a huge performance hit on the box and it looks like it's causing problems during a reboot as drives are not getting written to properly (I suspect this is perhaps a cache related issue rather then actual).

Ideas?

hi ,

you can use this command " rm -rf /lib/modules/$version/kernel/drivers/media "
use command "uname -a" to check the version ,
e.g .
[root@localhost ~]# uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 3.10.0-229.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Mar 6 11:36:42 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

version = 3.10.0-229.el7.x86_64 .

then reinstall the driver .

best regards !

Thanks xiaocao that worked although I did it a little differently....

instead of

> rm -rf ......

I did a

> mv ........media ........media_renamed_for_tbs

Purely to ensure if anything else broke I had a quick painless way back to 'untainted' setup

dmesg is now reporting no errors so I'll see what performance is like now to ensure I don't have any other issues....

once again thanks for the help and the quick response.

Regards

Pinson
