TBS 5881 - Scan fails with "Scan no Data. Failed"

Postby aizukanne » Mon Dec 01, 2014 4:49 pm

I am using TBS 5881 with the latest drivers on Ubuntu 14.04-1. Drivers installed with no issues but scan fails with the "No Data". I tried scanning with w_scan and TVHeadend and the result was the same. System detects the card, is able to see the carrier but unable to scan channels after that.

Output from w_scan

Still same thing, scan fails with NO PAT DATA with opensource driver. And 170330 doesnt work with newer kernels. Can someone from TBS comment on this already? Im writing about this for a year already. Opensource driver is broken, proprietary driver isnt updated for a year. So what to do? Throw away and never buy TBS again?
