Hello everybody,

I try to use the quad tuner 6205 card with these drivers on UBUNTU 14.04.5 LTS with success. ( that's a good point )

BUT :
I can't use my webcam logitech C525 anymore... It seems that the package of modules break it completly.

Is there any solutions ?

• Look like cx24117 driver implemented from 'reversed' code. So lack many features or partial implementation. But anyway Connexant demods is "total pain" and nobody want touch it

If someone has an itch to scratch they can always copy the dvbv5 stats code I wrote into the cx24120 driver as support for it is now a requirement for mainline. The git history should show what was needed, it wasn't much really.

One VM machine Ubuntu 17.04, TBS6908 and 6285
After installing I may only see the 6285 in tvheand...in lspci I may see the 6908...
any idea?

Today I've trying to compile the actual new driver with kernel-4.4.0-75, but I've got some issues with the new driver:

2. After compiling and installation I can't use my remote control, because "serial_ir" doesn't work with this driver version.
With an older version of this driver from March this year I have no problems to use my remot control with "serial_ir".
Without a working remote control I can't use this new driver and so I go back to my previously used driver from March 2017. With this driver from March 2017 (new compiled for the kernel-4.4.0-75) the "serial_ir" works perfekt!

Please help me and try to fix my issue with "serial_ir" and if you have time, you can look at the founded compile warnings.
