Can you explain how you can get dvb-c and dvb-t, on tbs6205 at same time?

Sorry, this was a little bit misunderstanding! :?
You can't use DVB-C and DVB-T at the same time with the TBS-6205, because DVB-C and DVB-T use the same frequencies!

What you can do with the new open source driver is to use DVB-C and DVB-T with the same driver installation!
To receive DVB-C you have to connect the TBS-6205 to your cable provider socket and to receive DVB-T you have to connect the TBS-6205 to your DVB-T aerial!

With the old closed source driver you couldn't use the same TBS-6205 driver installation to receive DVB-C and DVB-T.
You could only compile the TBS-6205 driver for DVB-C or DVB-T, but not together.

well that was possible with old opensource drivers, not possible with close ones.

with both modulations on same input its possible, but with a lot of problems, i thought you made a way batter to work, now i understand.

for me its a problem because i had one 6205 in c mode and one 6281 in t mode, with opensource drivers, and everythig worked 100%.
i cant use this cards at same time becou-se of this new motherboard, only has one pcie, and i tried to use os drivers and both modutations on same input, and work, but week signal.
maybe its possible to modify the hardware to use the rf out as rf in, and have 2xdvb-c +2xdvb-t.

I think you can do that, if you open the metal case and separate the wiring in the 4-way splitter!

But this doesn't really work, because how will you made tuner 1+2 only work for DVB-C and tuner 3+4 only work for DVB-T?
There is no parameter in the driver to do that.
I think that's impossible with one TBS-6205.

Ok, what about if you have a bunch of 6205 cards? I do need to dedicate one for DVB-T and leave the rest for DVB-C.
Closed source drivers are ok, they work great and stable for me, but input mode (T vs C) selection is a real pain.

With the new open source driver you can receive with each card DVB-T and DVB-C.

For example if you have 2 cards, you can connect card-1 with the cable socket to receive DVB-C and card-2 with your antenna to receive DVB-T.
But in this case you need a special DVB-software for your HTPC wich can assign all DVB-C TV-channel only to card-1 and all DVB-T TV-channel only to card-2. If you have this kind of DVB-software you can do this. Without this special assignment this don't work.

I had working like that in past 6205+6281 with open source drivers.
Now a can only use 6205, maybe opening , a seperate wiring.

Hello everybody,

I try to use the quad tuner 6205 card with these drivers on UBUNTU 14.04.5 LTS with success. ( that's a good point :) )

BUT :
I can't use my webcam logitech C525 anymore... It seems that the package of modules break it completly.

Is there any solutions ?

Thank you !
