Here comes a breaking news for your guys: TBS Linux Driver is updated to v160919, which has fixed kernel 4.7 compile error

However it doesn't compile under ubuntu 16.04.2 4.4.0-64 x86_64

make [3]: *** No rule to make target '/home/test/linux-tbs-drivers/v4l/tbsctrl.o' needed by /home/test/linux-tbs-drivers/v4l/saa716x_tbs-dvb.o' . Stop

The TBS-5990 download driver is only for TBS-5980 and also is broken.

Is there a working combination of linux and these drivers? Sadly I cannot use the better opensource drivers since the community hasn't added 5990.

I heard that the TBS 2900 Matrix PC is the only device known to work with this adapter. Is this true?

Which driver you are using ? please have a try with this one :

# sudo rm -rf /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/media/
#tar jxvf media_build-0119.tar.bz2
#cd media_build
#./install.sh
#reboot

I had downloaded the drivers v160919 mentioned earlier in this thread. Anyway the updated link you provided worked fine. You should make this the default download on the website.

In case anyone finds this thread, the updated drivers also work with Raspberry Pi 2/3!
