Linux kernel updates: automatically reinstall driver

Postby petwri » Sat Nov 05, 2016 7:38 pm

I have been using the official drivers for my 6928SE for quite a while. Compiling an installing worked fine on my linux 4.4.0. But the problem is, that since it's a manual kernel module installation, the module always vanishes after a kernel upgrade. I tried using dkms and writing a dkms.conf, but no luck. Also been looking out for a deb-pkg, but I haven't found anything.

Is there an "official" way how to deal with linux-tbs-drivers using dkms, or maybe some official support?

Thanks!
