I fear there is no progress here.

Very unhappy that the card is called Professional but it does not work like the other products. :(

Are there any chance that this card could be saved somehow?

A question to all 6903x users:

How long does it take that the card is ready?

I know that a single blindscan on one satellite could take hours, but when I start Crazyscan or EBSpro17 I need to wait for around one minute or even more that the card can be used (CS or EBS are frozen for that time). And each logging attempt takes really long. :x

When I use a 5927 on the same machine this USB card is ready within a very few seconds.

I'm on a 15 years old multimedia PC, Windows 10 using the latest driver.

Refresh the 6903x driver in Device Manager!

satesco Wrote:It is not an issue of the card, but the fact that the chip does not support fast-scan.@CrazyCat has tried to solve this issue with his application, but it does not depend on him or TBS,but on STiD135's STMicroelectronics(?).But even under these conditions, which does not depend on CrazyCat,his application can scan and find the active frequencies.

My Hats off to Crazycat for all his efforts, but TBS should work aggressively to get the manufactures of STiD135's chip to get this issue resolved. This is a professional card that costs a pretty penny, and users would like to enjoy all the features that this card has to offer. Limiting the card's capabilities is very counter productive. I need to see a comparable blindscan as fast as the old TBS 6903 card, if not faster.

+1 to the statement above.
I think that TBS turned now to encoders and streaming servers. Understand that, unfortunately there is less satellite TV fans than companies interested in IPTV. DVB cards now only needs to works as signal sources for their servers and advanced options seems to be abandoned. Driver updates for Windows are rare, in fact 6903X has got just one and only one drivers release from debut, dated back to November 2018 (other cards not better, 5520SE and 5580 got latest drivers from +2 years ago). For 6903X Crazycat has made all he could and in fact for more than a year there is just no progress with this device.

6903X is currently outperformed by older brother 6903, also older 6903 has got better CrazyScan support (reliable RFScan), faster blindscan. Only advantage of 6903X is DVB-S2X support, but on unknown level (missing maximal symbol rate limits per modulation, information about channel bonding support etc.)

6903X from hardware point of view is great, but visible lack of support (no drivers updates with improvements, missing fast blindscan) is killing this product.

Still hoping that this will change... Definitely more effort should be put on this device.

As the saying goes..... The squeaky wheel gets the oil. Users haven't put enough pressure on TBS to effect change and correct this and other issues. We need more users to express their outrage at the lack of support for the 6903-X. It is only right for TBS to support their product, users are not asking for much!
