Linux driver V121119

For DVB-T2 support in my debian-stable system i install 3.2 kernel from debian-backports. If i correctly understand post from DVBlast for MultiPLP i should use 3.6 kernel and higher?

This not related to kernel.
Current TBS V4L drivers support kernels from 2.6.32 to 3.7 (latest release 130318 have some fixes for compilation with 3.7+ based distr).

When i compile drivers and scan programm from drivers pack on 2.6.32 kernel - all compiles without errors. But scanning don't work. In google i found w_scan programm, that programm can not be compiled, because missed some DVBT2 constant in linux headers. I install 3.2 kernel and w_scan successfully compiled. And found transponder, and other scan programms found transponder. May be DVB-T works on 2.6.32, but not DVB-T2?

And i alredy make and install package with 3.6.11 kernel

Please, CrazyCat, fix your CrazyCat-scan-s2 file scan.c:
change line 858:
utf8res = strdup('\0');
to:
utf8res = strdup("\0"); // Argument of strdup must be pointer, not char After this fix segfault disappeared

And my current patch-set for TBS Linux drivers - include MultiPLP support for cxd2820r, T2-specific support for tda18212 and TBS6220,6280,6284,5880 use open-source tda18212/cxd2820r instead precompiled binaries. Tested on TBS6220 with SinglePLP DVB-T2/256QAM.

Trying to use szap (CrazyCat's version):

gives following error:

And one more - i totally can not understand, how to use vdr (1.7.42 from sources)

vlc shows old 4 channels, and i try convert vdr parameters to vlc xspf config for new channels
on one settings i can view in vlc epg from NTV channel (PLP 1), but not video. (may be problems in our 'testing' broadcasting)

look like szap-s2 can't handle utf8 channel names. edit channel list.

szap-s2 is simple zapping util - setup diseqc, tune desired transponder and optional setup TS to /dev/dvb/adapterX/dvr0. and after possible receive in some player like mplayer or vlc (without tuning)

About szap - i alredy try to use xxx, 1 and 111 as channel name, but with same negative result. I will try to understand szap sources for solving this problem . If i could starting szap, how to use szap work in players? What parameters i should tell to mplayer for example?

yaVDR not have your tbs-mPLP drivers, i think - not my choise

but you can compile tbs linux drivers with my patches.

P.S. on day i plan add MultiPLP support for Enigma2PC and TVHeadend.
