Installing TBS 6905 and DD MAX S8!

Hi to everyone.

At the moment i am using a TBS 6905 card on my PC.

I use Cesbo astra and everything works fine.

I want to use a Digital Devices Max S8 card but i am wondering if we can make both cards work under linux on the same machine!

Why is it so difficult to have drivers for both cards in kernel so we do not have to compile drivers?

I read that only one of the card may work at any time since its drivers messes up the cards drivers!

Is there anyone that can help?

Hi C6at.
You could try install TBS drivers first and other later.
TBS drivers replace all media kernel, I don't know if the other driver do same.

Any way, can you send me a link of the drivers? I can try install it, too...

Kind regards.

Not, I havenĀ“t got these card. But I can try install it and see if it posible use it with TBS drivers.
All depends of if this driver compile only his modules or all media drivers.
I'll try and then tell you.

Kind regards.

Hi
I did choose the 64 bit version.
I try re installing but no luck.
It seems DD drivers overwrite some files.

Did you figure out how to properly install the driver? I am having a similar issue with my 6928SE on linux 4.5.2.
