Image breakup with 6902 on Windows 10

Hi there,

I've recently done a bit of an upgrade of my HTPC. I've upgraded from Win8.1 to Win10, and from DVBLink v5.5.0 to v6.0.0. Strangely, at the same time one of the tuners on my TBS 6981 stopped working (finds no signal on any transponder). So I ordered a new TBS 6902. I now have 3 working tuners.

But I'm having a strange problem. Often when I start watching an HD channel (bitrate ~10Mbps), I get continuous picture breakup (every 5-20 seconds). DVBLink comes with a "diagnostic" utility, and it reports "discontinuities" (though no "errors") that correspond to the picture breakup. These are my observations:
1. I don't seem to have any problems with non-HD channels.
2. If I watch a non-HD channel for a while, it sometimes seems to settle and then there's no problems on the HD channels for the rest of the night.
3. If I force the current tuner to record a different channel and change back to the original channel with a second tuner, it's usually fine.
4. I've observed "discontinuities" and signal breakup on all 3 tuners.
3. I haven't noticed any image breakup on recordings.

So I'm not really sure where to go from here. It's not predictable, so I've found it hard to test. I suspect driver issues, but don't know how to confirm that. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

The system is otherwise working beautifully, and had been really solid before I upgraded. Would really like to get it all consistent again.

Thanks heaps!

Some system information:

DVBLink v6.0.0 (build 12900)
OSCam and ACam
Windows Media Center v12 (MDLF project)

if there is not any image breakup on recording, that means the card to receive the date is no problem. it is player's issue. so you can test it under some different player.
it seems there should be decoder problem for HD channel.
please have a try with different coder. you also can install ProgDVB, it will automatically install "Elecard" decode at the same time for you.
in dvbdream, you can set it on menu"Options-->Video-->video Codec , audio Code..."

Thanks for replying, I'll give this a try. Unfortunately, because it's inconsistent it's hard to test.
The HD channels for which this is a problem are also encrypted channels, so it's not so easy to test with other software. The issue isn't with the decryption though - DVBLink monitors the stream prior to decryption, and reports the errors. Anyway, will see what I can find.

A quick question, do you know what impact the power supply to the tuner card has? I didn't seem to have a compatible connector from my PSU, so I haven't currently got it plugged in.

Sorry, I don't seem to be getting notifications to replies. So, I think it was a faulty tuner now. Some of my initial observations were wrong. The problem did exist in recordings and only happened with tuner 1 of the TBS 6902. I ended up disabling that tuner for the HD channels, and haven't had issues since (using tuner 2 of the 6902 and the tuner 1 of the 6981). Until today...tuner 1 of the new TBS 6902 has completely stopped working. It's not scanning any channels. I'm not sure what to do now.

Are hardware problem common with TV tuners? Because I seem to get a lot of them.

about tuner hardware problem, I can say it's a very small probability. there is very coincidence that your two card have the problem. Since your card of tbs6902 is still in the warranty period, we can free to charge or repair it for you. please contact directly tbs sales<sales@tbsdtv.com> detailed what's your problem and when and where you buy it. sorry to you trouble.
