Can anyone give me an indication what distirbution of Linux the MOI uses....will it be possible to customise this?

I am thinking in terms of setting up a MOI as a Mythtv slave backend. It would be very popular if it could be done I am sure!

Thanks for your advice, MOI use 2.6.31 kernal ,And maybe next version of MOI we will add
grahp output such as using Mythtv.

I trust by next version of MOI you mean the next software update and I wouldnt have to buy a new harware version having just pre-ordered one to play with!

Will it be possible for an experienced user to update the kernel version and install other software on the moi?

so what distro is that for the less linux litarate? Debian, Ubuntu .........?

almost guarantee if its not open embedded then its custom. You wont see any major distro like ubuntu or debian on embedded devices because it just doesnt make any sense.

It is not Debian or Ubuntu,just a standard linux version.

Actually it is an embedded Linux distro, named Buildroot.
