Alphacrypt Light Modul?

Hello,

does anybody now, if the Moi Streaming box accept an "Alphacrypt Light" modul to decrypt Sky Germany/Austria channels?

We had two version Alphacrypt CAM,all test can confrim work.
So i think Alphacrypt serious cam should work with MOI.

Can you give me a reply how to configure MOI with XBMC and Alphacrypt?

How to configure the CI-Slot via SSH or com port? Is there any solution?

In FAQ has been informations about crypted channels, also CI modules.
TVHeadend haven't options form handling CI modules.
Try mumudvb or dvblast. but dont forget, your modules has limited count of pids for descrambling.

I've also compiled getstream_a84 and astra (both cesbo , look at google), whitch can handle CI module, haven't MASCOM modules.

One info for tbs team - size of dvr buffer need to be updated for properly working, important for CI+ modules.
In kernel:
drivers/media/dvb/dvb-core/dmxdev.h
properly rate for applications like that is:
#define DVR_BUFFER_SIZE (10*188*1024*4), but that need to be testing for a longer time.

Actual value: (10*188*1024).

I'ts not about rootfs (rom)...

You have mumudvb and dvblast in default fw. If You don't know how to configure these apps, will be better wait for a new firmware. Meanwhile missing ftp server, so You edit config only via ssh with simple 'vi'.

I thing Alphacrypt modules will be working, as sure. I tried some CI+ version of Neotion, better works with dvblast.
Another projects, handling CI modules (getstream, cesbo) haven't official support. Only some peole trying add handling CI into these projects. Thats mean, working, but with bugs, lags, etc.
TVHeadend don't working with CI.

You've a Sky Germany card, as you mentioned.
Why using Alphacrypt module?

I thing, that card already going in oscam (look for configurations at coolstream forums (coolstream as receiver, ZEE, NEO, NEO2 - I've all...).
All forums are in your language.

There's thread with examples how to configure oscam for Sky Germany card.

Note: I thing You have a Nagra with Alphacrypt. I don't know what is needed for currently version of Sky Nagravision cards.
But If You have NDS (Alphacrypt don't working with NDS) be careful.

New NDS cards using 3,3V. As reader You can use smargo or USB Phoenix what support 3,3V TTL.
Need to read, what is better (hw) for your card. Then You can use TVheadend without troubles.

If You haven't any experience with that, or You still need Alphacrypt module, next way is build system like VDR or Enigma2, witch both platform are supported in XBMC's PVR addons.
I have an idea how to build with expanded szap, all between E2 and XBMC begin over Web Interface commands.
