setting record destination

Postby PerryM » Wed Aug 13, 2014 6:12 pm

I am trying to set tvheadend in the MOI to record onto my NAS. I am accessing tvheadend via the Chrome browser on a Windows machine (all on the same network). I am currently entering the path:
/mnt/MitchNAS/XBMC/TV_Recordings
which refers to a NFS (linux) shared folder on the NAS.
What is really perplexing is that I can try a test recording with the above path and it works - I get a successful recording that I can play back - but this is clearly actually recording on the Windows machine although I cannot find where!!
I will admit that I am a complete idiot in trying to get my head around linux style path names and I would surely appreciate some guidance.
