i've also been (finally) able to launch the bat file as admin (using the full path to mfgtools2.exe in the bat file) and it does not work.

Sadly I can't help you more because I'm out of ideas. For me it always worked. If not it was because of some file missing or some other error. With this error
Code: Select All Code
ModuleID[2] LevelID[1]: PortMgrDlg(0)--MSCDevice--Command Push(no file) excute failed
ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: CmdOperation[0], current command executed failed, so SetEvent(hDevCanDeleteEvent)
I'm not familiar with.

Maybe the device is broken....
but if it install v1.0.1.1 i assume that it's not broken...

WHat is the reason uf the Bat file?
why does not the MFGTools2.exe work in standalone?

Device doesn't seems to be broken if matrixtv works.

Reason for bat file is to have different load options. One is compete reinstall, then there is only to update bootloader or it's configuration, only to update. There is nothing wrong with this approach. And I also give you option to run mfgtool2 directly with different init file and it didn't help.

@MikeDotBe:
Sorry for interfering, but did you ever try it on another PC or maybe with a virtual machine with a clean OS?

MikeDotBe, try this image: OpenELEC-imx6.arm-5.0.0-TBS-Matrix-test1.tar
You can run MfgTool2.exe directly. If this doesn't work.... then I'm really out of ideas.

Another hint can be this: When MfgTool reports an error stop and close it but leave the board running. Open a new instance of MfgTool and flash again. Maybe the process will succeed.
