@ vpeter
Thanks again for this new version, it's working very well so far, but is there any way to enable the onboard ir-receiver in libreelec ?
I want to use my mce remote with it.
I have a Matrix v2.1 with buildin ir-receiver.
I used the forum search and found your posts about the ir-receiver but all links are dead, they're from 2014.
I found this in dmesg
gpio_ir_recv: Unknown symbol nsecs_to_jiffies (err 0)

LibreMATRIX:~ # modprobe gpio-ir-recv
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'gpio_ir_recv': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

LibreMATRIX:~ # modinfo gpio-ir-recv
filename: /lib/modules/3.14.79/kernel/drivers/media/rc/gpio-ir-recv.ko
license: GPL v2
description: GPIO IR Receiver driver
alias: of:N*T*Cgpio-ir-receiver*

intree: Y
vermagic: 3.14.79 SMP mod_unload ARMv7 p2v8

True, image with kernel 3.14 doesn't have working IR (same as cubox-i from solidrun).

Download LibreELEC-imx6.arm-8.0.1-matrix-sr-3.14.tar (27-Mar-2017 15:23 166062080 bytes) file again and update with it. After that IR should work. Let me know if doesn't.

On a somewhat related note: Is there a subform on the Libreelec forum for Freescale iMX6 devices. vpeter seems to be single-handedly keeping them alive, but I can't find a central resource for information concerning both my Matrixtv and my Cubox-i.
