Hi guys,

No luck for me with the last two LibreELEC builds unfortunately. I am using a V2.1 board and despite being able to load the build with the MFGTool I only get a blank screen when trying to boot.

I am reverting to the ancient Android 4.2 build just to verify that the box is still working. It does!

It looks like I am finally ditching the MatrixPC for the RaspberryPI which is easier to update with OSMC...

If anyone knows a way to load a full Linux Distro (debian, arm, etc) on the Matrix please let me know. I would like to give this box a last purpose as a headless Torrent client or FTP server before considering throwing it away.

Thks!

I also have v2.1.

Can you enable ssh and enable serial console in uEnv.txt file before flashing and after boot check what you get on serial log? And try to connect with ssh (it should work).

Regarding full distro: there are multiple distros available for different devices. It is just a matter of adapting bootloader and device tree. There are recipes how to roll your own image. Not that hard.

I also have a 2.1, i had no problem to install with the mfg tool.
I used the MfgTool2-reinstall.bat.
Try it again

Hello all,

I've installed this latest release and facing an issue when using my IR remote control. When I press once any button of the remote control, my device take it like I've press twice the same button. I use tu use Openelec, and it works fine. I only face this issue when using Libreelec (any version).

Any idea to help me solve this ?

Hello,

Following my last question on the issue, I can see that using CEC remote control mode it works fine.

It seems the issue can be resolved updating /etc/lirc/lircd.conf.xbox file : Need to uncomment this lign "# suppress_repeat 4"

But this file can't be updated. How can it be possible to update this file ?

Thanks in advance for your help

You have to stop lirc before you edit any lirc config files.
log in via ssh and kill lirc with:
killall lircd
now you can edit the config files, then reboot.
your lircd.conf should be in /storage/.config/lircd.conf

Hello all

And thanks Franky384 for your help
My problem is solved !

For those who could face the same issue :
copy /etc/lirc/lircd.conf.rpi file to /storage/.config/lircd.conf
And that's it
