TBS 6925 signal problem

TBS 6925 signal problem

Postby brontowasik » Fri May 17, 2019 11:45 pm

Hi,
the TBS 6925 card has recently stopped working correctly on a transponders with data transfer above about 45 Mbit - the signal level is indicated correctly but there are BER errors and the tv channel does not receive or the card does not read the signal from tr. (with tr. DVB-S2, the signal level in crazyscan is visible, but you can not see the contents of tr.). Crazyscan executes the chart correctly. A transponders with data transfers below 45 Mbit works well. The above is not the fault of setting the antenna, because on the same installation only with another tuner everything works well. I have Windows 10, which recently installed updates and after them the card stopped working properly (it can only be a convergence in time and it is not the fault of updating). Could it be Windows 10's fault, or the card just broke down.
Kind Regards
Martin

hi,
previously there were no problems supported high transmission speed on this card (even up to 80 Mbit). It stopped working only about 3 weeks earlier (I have this card for about 10 years and it worked well).I also tested the card on Windows 7 and the problem is the same, so it's the card's fault.
I also have a TBS 5520 SE card, which unfortunately does not work well (in my opinion the problem is the drivers. Unfortunately, drivers have not been repaired and are not updated for a long time), which results in the fact that, I will not buy another TBS card never anymore.
Kind Regards
