uk. ch4 hd picture problems

Hi guys. Ok I have my card up and running ok appart from this issue. Ch4 hd has some weird picture issue. I use windows 7 media center 64 bit on a new build e350 AMD. All other hd stuff, inc bluray is great, but ch4 hd has strange picture problems. If the people don't move in the picture its fine, but as soon as they move I get breakup. Any advice?

This maybe your Decorder's problem ,so would you mind just using another decorder to a have a test.

Sorry its been so long, but I still have this problem even with different programs eg supplied viewer. I have installed the newest video drivers and catilists, but still exactly the same. Why just this channel. Cheers des

For what it's worth, I have the same problem with a number of different TV clients and codecs. Other people on the internet seem to have the same problem, but it seems to be limited to those with AMD/ATI Radeon graphics cards, including the built-in GPU in the AMD E350.

Other HD (i.e. h264) channels work well (BBC HD, BBC 1 HD, ITV HD etc.) work OK, but there is a small (one off) glitch a few seconds after switching to the channel, but after that it's fine.

Why Channel 4 HD gives so many problems I don't know.

Unfortunately, I can't access to these channel. But if you can use some card in linux, using dvbsnoop you'll can see wich type of codec it's needed. ( I don't know if there are same application to see that in windows)
Or if you can tune and lock this TP, with ffmpeg you can see type of file and codec needed.

It's H.264 just like all the other channels that do work (albeit with the slight startup glitch I mentioned).
