TBS6985 with Supermicro X9SRI-F

TBS6985 with Supermicro X9SRI-F

Postby krit » Tue Feb 11, 2014 5:22 pm

We've installed a few TBS6985 and a TBS6285 on Supermicro X9SRI-F boards. The cards are not detected at all - no sign of them with lspci.
Servers have the latest BIOS v3.0a. We tried changing the PCI-eX GEN3 setting to GEN1, disabling the Intel vt-d setting and modifying the I2C jumpers, as well as a combination of several different settings.

TBS advised that we communicate with Supermicro and that it's in their hands since the cards are not detected at all by the system. We have, and are expecting a reply.
Any ideas would be very welcome in the meantime!

On my X9SCM-F motheboard placed two jumpers - JI2C1, JI2C2. Look around PCIe slots. If jumpers not installed - TBS cards not working. Maybe on your motheboard same problem.

Hi All

For this problem we already find the solution. We have
made a new hardware version which added some chip to let our card more compatible.

So just write email to our support#tbsdtv.com ,we will help you replace the new version. :)

Thanks

Kind Regards
