Hi, I tried upgrading one today to 1.0.60 (from 1.0.51), I get the success message, but the version still displays as 1.0.51, no matter what I do (i rebooted it, both from software and hardware, I tried IE instead of Firefox etc). I wonder if it's capable to stream 4 full transponders using 6985. 4 transponders x 13 channels each = 52 channels, 200 Mbps...

That patch didn't work for me either, I have strong artefacts on 3 x 6985 cards. These artefacts seem to be directly proportional with how complex the streams are, and do not seem to be related to the format of the channels (SD/HD) or encryption etc.

@bob, is that patch still available anywhere? I might have a similar problem...

Hi, have you found any way to make udev read MAC address of the adapter port? I can't get it to report it, no mater what I do...

This could solve the bind to udev problem.

BTW, could this problem be solved by an updated linux driver? Or do the udev guys also need to work on it...?
