Tried to upgrade to the latest kernel 3.5, but latest driver won't compile. It can't find a function called 'err'.
I had to revert to the old kernel 3.2.

I was able to solve my problem by turning off lirc completely and using a tool called ir-keytable, to reconfigure the key codes mapped to the remote buttons. I linked it to regular keys like 'p' for pause, mapped the ok button to the regular 'enter' etc. This way I am able to use all the buttons in ...

Can anyone recommend me a linux media distribution that works well with this card INCLUDING the remote control?
Even if it is an older version?
I would really like to get it working with remote control.

I use mythbuntu. I can't find any information on configuring remote buttons in linux apart from with lirc?

HI Everyone. I am trying to use my remote with the latest mythbuntu 12.04. I successfully installed the driver on mythbuntu 12.04. when I installed lirc with mythbuntu the remote never worked. I reinstalled mythbuntu without lirc and then installed the driver again. Without lirc, the remote now work...
