kernel 4.9.x and tbs-linux-drivers_v161031.zip

Unable to build the driver with any of the stable 4.9.x kernels. Last kernel it was known to build on is 4.8.17. I've had problems like this before until a new driver source package was released. I don't see anything newer than tbs-linux-drivers_v161031.zip for the 6922SE yet.

Kaffeine and TBS 6922SE

I'm using a TBS 6922SE with Kaffeine and ran into an interesting problem. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the TBS driver or with Kaffeine. What happens is that when I scan SES1 at 101.0 W, I get a "hit" on Decades (3957 V 2734) and on MeTV (3725 V 10000) but I can't add both of them to...

Re: TBS6922SE on kernel 4.7.2

Those lines are blank lines in linux-tbs-drivers/v4l/af9015.c. But adding #define GOLDEN_RATIO_PRIME_32 0x9e370001UL to line 402 fixed my problem. What I don't understand is why I had to do that when /usr/src/linux-headers-4.7.3-040703/include/linux/hash.h already had GOLDEN_RATIO_PRIME_32 defined a...

Re: TBS6922SE on kernel 4.7.2

I found GOLDEN_RATIO_PRIME_32 defined in /usr/src/linux-headers-4.7.2-040702/include/linux/hash.h. For some reason make can't find it. I tried upgrading the kernel to kernel 4.7.3-040703 but got the same problem. user@server2:~/Downloads/tbs/linux-tbs-drivers$ sudo -i root@server2:/# cd /home/user/D...

Re: TBS6922SE on kernel 4.7.2

I ran grep looking for GOLDEN_RATIO_PRIME_32 but it doesn't show up in a header file or any #define statements. And that makes me wonder how I was able to build the drivers with an earlier kernel (4.4.0-36-generic). Right now the card works when I boot to kernel 4.4.0-36-generic. user@server2:~$ sud...

TBS6922SE on kernel 4.7.2

I just upgraded to this kernel and I have been unable to build the latest drivers for this card. Here is what happened and I don't know what to do about it: /home/user/Downloads/tbs/linux-tbs-drivers/v4l/af9015.c: In function 'af9015_eeprom_hash': /home/user/Downloads/tbs/linux-tbs-drivers/v4l/af901...

Re: blindscan under GNU/Linux

I installed Debian 8.5. But, I had so many problems with all of this stuff I've decided not to use it.

Re: blindscan under GNU/Linux

Hi For using UdateDVB is necessary to use kernel provided by Chris Lee. With another kernel will not work unless you apply the changes that made Chris Lee. This kernel is designed for use with Debian or a derivative of this distribution. I use it with Debian 8. My card is a TBS6922 and works someti...

Re: blindscan under GNU/Linux

Hi See: https://bitbucket.org/updatelee/updatedvb Regards Thanks. I'm aware of his project but I haven't been able to use the kernel so I can't get to the other DVB projects such as updatedvb. I tried to build updatedvb on kernel 4.4.0-28-generic (Ubuntu 14.04.4 64 bit). The last issue was a missin...

Re: blindscan under GNU/Linux

Has there been any further development for this? I tried blindscan-s2 but found it useless.
