Hi,
I have a Windows 7 Media Center PC in which I have installed two TBS cards, one 6980 dual tuner PCI-E card, and one 8920. After first installation both cards were installed correctly with the latest drivers, but after my first reboot after that, the 8920 card was lost, and now I can't get it back again.
It shows up as an uninstalled "Video controller" in the Device Manager, but when I try to "Update driver" it starts searching on Windows update and installs a completely bogus driver. If I try to point it manually to the TBS driver folder, it just says that there is no suitable driver found in that directory.
I have tried uninstalling the device, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, rebooting, removing and reinserting the card into the PC, well just about everything. But I still can't get it to recognize the card again. I know it should be possible as I succeeded once before the initial reboot.
Any hints?
Christopher
