I'm using the TBS 5922. I don't use a DiSEqc. I've tried various settings and get the same result.

There's no way to turn on the Matrix device if you power off it from XBMC's menu. The only way is just restart. Power on/off button doesn't work.

Really sorry that this version of hardware only support power off ,the power on by remote is not supported.
You need to manual power on matrix by yourself.
Power on by remote maybe we will add it in future.

Thanks steven, but I refer that I can't turn on from the physical button of the Matrix device (No RC).
The only way to turn on is press the Restart button of the device. That's weird. Power ON/OFF button should work too, right?

Please have a look at this patch

Just need to replace the new diseqcsetup and update-channels
in usr/bin folder.

and for the power button,we can not use the power button to power on matrix.
You need to disconnect the power and replug to power on.
Next version of hardware we will add this.

Another bug that was present on the last build but I don't recall being there before that. When selecting 5.1 sound the channels are mixed up. I.e Center channel is coming out of surround left. Is there a file somewhere that I can edit to correct this?

This only occurs when the output is PCM. DD and DTS with pass through work fine

So what is the power button even there for ? Does it have ANY use ? Unplug & replug sounds amateurish at best. Beginning to feel kind of ripped off having bought a product that was not fully developed ...

Next problem is getting VDR to talk to OSCAM. I can't get it to talk to the inbuilt OSCAM or a remote OSCAM server. Has vdr-plugin-sc been set up correctly?
