I prefer to let my router manage the IP's. all decent routers now days let you assign a MAC address to a specific IP. That way when that unit uses DHCP to ask for an address, the router will allways assign that specific address. Makes it easier, if you update the firmware on the box you wont have to change the settings.

Hmm, with mac you have right and i did it earlier , but other my equipment is without problem, only matxix changed ip and dhcp on/off it is
