I'm experiencing some problems with streaming from TVHeadend (located on my second PC). I was looking on the server side, and didn't found any issue, samo on the matrix (both are complainig about cound not send, recieve. Than I have checked the network inerfaces and found this on matrix:
[root@matrixtv ~]# ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 1E:ED:19:27:1A:B3
inet addr:192.168.180.59 Bcast:192.168.180.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:6387705 errors:305484 dropped:2334 overruns:305484 frame:305484
TX packets:4704699 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:456257744 (435.1 MiB) TX bytes:343115901 (327.2 MiB)
Is this only my issue or does anyone experience similar problem? errors could be some cabelin problem, but dropped an overruns looks for me as driver implementation problem. Unfortunately ethtool can't modify this adaper.
The gb network I'm using is follows:
MatrixPC-> cat6 2m -> FritzBox 3790 -> cat7 5m-> Cisco SLM2008 -> cat6 2m -> Server
