Brand new TBS6909X V2 adapters not detected

Postby bobben » Wed Apr 24, 2024 12:56 am

Hi,

I have a problem with a brand new TBS6909X V2 received a few days ago.
Tested for the first time today and get the same problem in both fedora38 and ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. My older TBS6909X V2 works. Last tests is done in ubuntu 22.04.3 with only the new card in the computer.

Is this kind of errors I get in dmesg log something that is known or is the card DOA?

dmesg | grep 'tbsecp3\|stid135\|STiD\|TBSECP3'

I changed BIOS pcie generation setting from "auto" to "gen1" and now the card is detected and so far it works ok.
