Postby pep » Tue Aug 23, 2016 1:40 pm

Hi

l've been trying to connect the enconder to Wowza treaming engine with RTMP protocol, without success, could someone confirm that it can be used with Wowza Streaming engine.
this my config:
RTMP server ip: ip of my wowza streaming engine
RTMP server port: 1935
RTMP user name: user created in Source Authentication
RTMP password: passwd created in Source Authentication
RTMP app name: live
RTMP stream name:myStream

hi,

had the same problem.
After removing the "@" character from the connection pwd all works fine...
maybe you have also special characters in the password??

hi pep,

important point from my config is:
only h264 worked for me, with h265 no stream!
The inbuild dash player from wowza is not stable in my environment. i have to restart my browser to get the stream several times.

Hope this helps, attached my config:

hi Pep
the ip adress of port 43691 is the real internet adress of the 2603 device, so not the internal 192.168.x.x adress inside your local network, but the public internet adress of your router connection.
You cannot configure/change that port, i think its dynamically set.

Do you see the incoming stream from your 2603 device within wowza? is the connection established? any log entries?
i have no special configuration outside my 2 screenshots in wowza. important thing for me was the h264 profile NOT H265
