tbs6981fe - attach failed [solved]

Postby LLSmurf » Sun Feb 05, 2012 3:50 am

Hi,

I've tried to get this card working with my ASUS AT3IONT-I and a 350W power supply (incl. PCI-E 6-pin plug attached to the TBS6981).
So far I have the same errors no matter whether I use a VDR-distribution like yavdr or easyvdr (32-bit) or (currently) debian squeeze with 64bit.
I followed the README_TBS6981 instructions in the linux-tbs-drivers_111118.zip from this website.

Excerpt from dmesg (complete dmesg as attachment):

Please have a look at the attached data and please let me know of any idea, how to solve this. I currently assume a hardware problem and would ask TBS for a replacement, but maybe I miss something.

Hi,

just to keep other potential readers updated.
TBS Support says, this as a hardware fault of the card.
