which package for 2.6.35-30 Kernel

Hi All,

just got a tbs6981 to build my mythtv box, and am trying to compile the drivers, without success.

my system is ubuntu, running a 2.6.35-30 kernel.

I downloaded the latest drivers, linux-tbs-drivers_110717.rar

but during the make part, they complain about lots of things, eg

I'm guessing I need the drivers for the older kernel ?

I can see lots of older downloads at http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/common/
but which one do I need ?

or... have I done something really dumb

Did you ran ".v4l/tbs-x86.sh" before do "make"?
And the error that you post is "Permission denied". Are you root?

Ahh... I was trying to follow this guide on the forum..

which didnt mention the .v4l/tbs-x86.sh part..

now tried again doing that, and using sudo for everything.. and its all installed

well, I can see stuff thro mplayer anyway

see if I can get mythtv to play now !
