Constantly stopping/freezing video

As a replacement coded, I decided to try the ffdshow codecs (audio/video) and they seemed to do their part for the day, but today when I booted up and tried to use it, I'm getting problems again.

In DVB Dream, I get a message stating "can not create audio codec" which leaves me with no video or sound working...

I guess its off to try some other codecs.
