you can take it as DVB-C device,and connect DVB-C signal and then scan the
DVB-C transponder do not need to input the DVB-C symbol rate.
you can check that you can lock the DVB-C transponder.

I'm not quite sure that will work, and even if so, it may not work in other 3rd-party software. Cos I'm getting the device detected as DVB-T/DVB-T2 device only in NextPVR, so I can't detect DVB-C signal using that device in the software.
