I tried to compile on opensuse 4.4 kernel, default. (just trying if it works now, it didnt the last time, it does work on vanilla kernel from opensuse ) But see what happens: compile ends with a fatal error, but the make script goes ahead removing modules etc. not a good idea. it should stop on fail...
