PCI-e 1.0a compatibility + back cover question

Hello, just wanted to ask:

1. Does the compatibility problem mentioned here exist in the TBS6590, or is it solved?

2. Is some sort of back cover provided, to use when only one (or none) CI slot is being used? (to protect from dust etc.)

Thanks again

Re: Card availability and tivusat

Thanks again. That's complicated stuff... I'll try to figure things out. If someone knows more details, feel free to PM me.

Hope you can release single-CI cards again soon.

Re: Card availability and tivusat

Thank you steven. The 6910 looks great but a bit out of my budget unfortunately. I could consider USB but it seems the TBS5980 is also not available, only the 2xCI 5990. Do stand-alone CI/readers exist that can be used separately with existing TV cards? I have no idea. I don't know if these readers ...

Re: Card availability and tivusat

One more self-answer which I got from here.

TBS6928SE is the updated version of TBS6928, with a different chipset, more powerful.

The main question remains, is this card available somewhere?

Re: Card availability and tivusat

Hmm ok, I got a bit confused. The 'Successor' button actually leads to the TBS6528, which is a different card: it's multi-standard. So I'm still not sure what is the status of the TBS6928SE or TBS6928.

Card availability and tivusat

1. In the products page and forum I only see the TBS6928(SE) . In the shop it is reported as sold-out and the "Successor" button links to the more expensive TBS6528. My questions: is the TBS6528(SE) available? Which is the newer card of the two and what are their differences? 2. Can someon...

Few questions on the single connector

Hello everyone, recently found out about your very interesting TV cards. A few questions on the TBS6528: 1. I'm a bit confused with the single input connector. The card supports both DVB-T and DVB-S but there's only one input. Is there some sort of 2-to-1 adapter that can allow simultaneous connecti...
