Re: How do I 'switch' the driver into T2 mode

You mean there's more to it than make? I didn't see anything in the README files.

Re: How do I 'switch' the driver into T2 mode

@ grandmastermarclar: we are always trying our best to help the users who are experiencing technical issue, however, the forum is not a pure TBS support forum, it is more like a platform for users to discuss, so we kindly recommend that if you have any problems, the most efficient way is to email s...

Re: How do I 'switch' the driver into T2 mode

Couldn't have put it better myself. Not even so much as a status report!

TBS = Terrible Bloody Service... I could think of worse and, sadly, more accurate. Come on, do yourselves a favour!? Me thinks it'll be quicker to reverse engineer.

Re: How do I 'switch' the driver into T2 mode

I also cannot consider purchasing this card until DVB-T & DVB-T2 switching is 100% transparent to the user - my wife. I've been after a linux-supported combined card like this for almost a year and it's so frustrating. After months of waiting and indications it'll be available THIS MONTH, it wou...

Re: Drivers for 2.6.38 / Ubuntu 11.04

All I can say is that the drivers dated 053111 do compile under Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04 (both 64 bit), both using kernel 2.6.38, but not for me with 10.10 under 2.6.35. Follow the instructions exactly. It does work. Sounds like you didn't run the v4l/tbs-x86.sh or v4l/tbs-x86_64.sh script depending o...

Re: Drivers for 2.6.38 / Ubuntu 11.04

Wakey wakey, TBS... Ubuntu 11.04 is out. Officially. That means kernel 2.6.38. Now. Where are your drivers? 32 and 64 bit? From what I can tell, https://shop.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=110 has descended into unfathomable hackery. I recall mention a couple of months back that TBS were...

Re: Drivers for 2.6.38 / Ubuntu 11.04

I'd much prefer to be testing code heading towards the version that will eventually be released, not some clever patch that'll never be supported. I've been involved in testing before, on an off for twenty years. It's easy enough to report defects, with all the supporting information the developers ...

Drivers for 2.6.38 / Ubuntu 11.04

Hi,

Any news of when these are likely to be available, for use with Ubuntu 11.04?

What about posting betas here? I'm happy to (electronically) sign any NDAs if needed, and provide any bug reports...

These drivers are the only thing holding me back from upgrading from 10.10.
