Re: Can't get HD channels in Media Center

I am aware of scanschannelsbda, and have run it already to see what I can see. It didn't detect anything on the COM7 mux frequency (652Mhz) for my transmitter (Hanningtion, UK). If the EPG is showing the COM7 channels, that indicates that the downloaded list of MUXes has already been updated, so no...

Re: Can't get HD channels in Media Center

I run a TBS6280 in my Windows 7 x86 Media Center. Latest drivers are in use. My problem is that I don't seem to be able to receive any of the HD channels on the new COM7 multiplex. I used Windows Vista Media Center for 5 years. My understanding is that WMC downloads from the internet the list of MU...

Re: HD channels have scrambled titles and info

I tried Windows Media Center, same problem, the Guide shows info for SD channels fine, but the HD channels show no information. You have to use the Microsoft EPG downloaded from the internet in order to get the EPG for the HD channels. Windows Media Center has the ability to use both the Microsoft ...

Re: HD channels have scrambled titles and info

I'm using TBS Viewer v1.0.2 should I be using something else ? I notice that you are using 32-bit Windows 7 Professional. That should have Windows Media Center already included. It works fine with the TBS tuners (it is what I use). So you would simply need to use the Microsoft downloaded EPG in ord...

Re: Screen judder on WMC 7 and AMD 6450

So, firstly, do signals get reported correctly in WMC7? Have a look at this thread: http://www.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=7615 For HD channels e.g. football, F1, I am getting some screen judder (my screen is running at 50Hz) The AMD 6450 is supposed to be one of the better cards for ...

Re: No DVB-T2, signal fine

The HUMAX box reports a DVB-T2 signal with 98% quality, and has no problem with HD channels, so I don't think I have a weak signal. Do you mean 98% quality, or 98% strength? 98% quality indicates that the Humax is receiving an imperfect signal, which might be too imperfect the the TBS tuners to han...

Re: No DVB-T2 signal fine

I can get very weak HD which is barely watchable. I tried a Humax box with the same aerial, and it reported a strong DVB-T2 signal with 100% quality. I have got a TBS 6284 card which I use with Windows Media Center. But I also have a Humax HDR-Fox-T2 DVR. I have noticed that the tuners in the Humax...

Re: Random "Flashing" on DVB-T2 in UK

I have just purchased a 6284 card and I get exactly the symptoms described above. A random 'flash' on UK freeview HD channels. SD channels do not exhibit this issue. Other HD sources (internet streams, BluRay) do not exhibit this issue. Since my original post, I have changed graphics cards, and I c...

Re: TBS6280 unavailable after Resume From Sleep

Do you have tried change 4x slot's card to 1x, and 1x card to 4x slot? I have now had an opportunity to swap the cards around: (1) The 6284 card that was in the 4x slot was moved to the 1x slot. (2) The 6284 card that was in the 1x slot was moved to the 4x slot. Sadly, the result is the same: (1) O...
