That is correct except I have to re-launch the application twice following the failure before the device tunes correctly. My BIOS is at 1202 if that helps, the very latest.
Did you have to connect the external power cable to the device to get it to work correctly? I am trying to resolve the issue that I have with mine following resume from sleep as it does not always tune. Could the card be faultly?
Following further tests with this card, I have also found that if I re-start dvbviewer after watching a DVB-S feed then it fails to tune and I have to re-start it a further two times before it then correctly tunes. This is probably what is happening when it tries to record which is why it is hit and...
No I have not. This is a very stock install of W7 64bit. The update does appear to be slightly better as it sometimes resumes from sleep ok. However, when you want a recording to occur and it does not it still makes it un-reliable and essentially still broken. Any way of debugging this?
I have tried this and the problem persists. I have verfiied the driver as 2.0.0.21 31-AUG but following resume from sleep the tuner still fails to tune.
Is there an option to generate a debug log at all?
I have a similar problem with my 6981. I have an ASUS E35M1-I and the card will not tune first time from resume from sleep. It does not even report a failure to tune. It just appears to ignore the request. If I select another channel or exit and restart my app (dvbviewer) or select rebuild graph the...
