Re: Windows 7 x64 blue screen after hypernate(solved)

littlewave, I reduced the number of sleep transitions - and BSODs - by disabling "sleep on idle". The PC only goes into standby on command. I also put a 24-hour mains timer on the QBox power supply - this briefly interrupts power once a day to allow QBox recovery if a crash occurs in my ab...

Re: Windows 7 x64 blue screen after hypernate(solved)

1. No 2. Not externally, but there may be one in the chipset inside the case. User littlewave reported BSODs with all devices direct to motherboard. 3. Several other devices currently installed - wireless mouse/keyboard DVB-T tuner - BSODs occurred before this was installed IR Receiver - BSODs occur...

Re: Windows 7 x64 blue screen after hypernate(solved)

It would be if TBS would fix this! Or even acknowledge it. Someone has reported the same problem in TBS5922 forum.

Re: Windows 7 x64 blue screen after hypernate(solved)

littlewave, my debug analysis showed the crashes occur exactly 600 seconds after the wake time. I don't think the Windows logs will report exact crash time. You can see it in the BlueScreenView utility. A web search shows that other devices have the same timeout issues - the suggested solution is us...

Re: Windows 7 x64 blue screen after wake

In my case, PC is a "nettop" (Acer Revo 3610) using Intel Atom 330 CPU and nVidia ION chipset. I can't remove case for warranty reasons but there are some pictures which show details e.g. http://img.alibaba.com/wsphoto/v0/486062337/Motherboard-FOR-ACER-Aspire-R3600-R3610-MB-SCA09-001-mbsca...

Re: WARNING: QBox II power brick not earthed! It's bloody he

This type of adaptor is rarely earthed. It should be double insulated. What is likely to be happening is that RF noise from the supply is coupling to the cables, though it's strong enough to propagate by other media. On mine, the noise was probably getting through the mains and affecting my DSL conn...

Slow response from driver?

When I scan a transponder in my main application, the app freezes if the receiver can't lock on the frequency, and won't respond until some time-out expires. I have measured this at 27 seconds. When lock is achieved, the application remains responsive and completes the scan quickly. Other applicatio...
