Re: Can't tune in to any channels

# sudo rmmod saa716x_tbs-dvb # sudo modprobe saa716x_tbs-dvb This didn't complete even after about 5 minutes. :-( ... it seems to me like some software issue, i.e. that mythtv backend tries to lock some frequencies without signal and as result of that are those messages. I took myth-backend out of ...

Re: Can't tune in to any channels

This starts showing up as soon as the machine is started up, so myth tv backend will be running, but there shouldn't be anything else. I will double check tonight - I'm late for work already. :-( The logs are here: dmesg output http://pastebin.com/bZk4TtEA lspci output http://pastebin.com/UhayaVy5 u...

Can't tune in to any channels

hello, This was mentioned in another forum - http://www.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8038 , but I don't know if it has been reported properly and so might have slipped under the radar. Anyway, the basic problem is that I can't tune in to any channels, with various apps including some command lin...

Re: kernel logs overload by tbs62x0fe driver messages

Re: kernel logs overload by tbs62x0fe driver messages

Hi rickyticky, I'm also seeing this on my TBS 6280 using the v120827 drivers, which is a pain because my wife wants me to record something for her tonight. I deleted all channels in Myth TV (because they've shifted them around again and I needed to re-tune) but when trying a channel scan it was unab...

Re: How do I 'switch' the driver into T2 mode

I do have some sympathy for the developers; I develop software and I know that estimates are almost always optimistic. However, one thing that I have learned over the years is that a small amount of info on how the work is progressing goes a long way to reassuring the customers, even if it's somethi...

Re: Linux Driver for Kernel 3.x Released

SingingDwarf Wrote:Apparently, the latest version is only T or T2 mode - not both simultaneously unfortunately.

Source code for the drivers?

Hello, I'm currently looking at adding a DVB-T2 tuner to my MythTV media server, now that my region has switched off analogue and switched on the HD channels and think that the 6280 looks like the card to buy because of its Linux support. There are other manufacturers offering solutions but either t...
