Re: no TV signal after suspend to ram and resume

looks like your using VDR; so you'll need to close the part of VDR that uses the tuner card. then you can 'modprobe -r cx23885' when it comes out of suspend, you'll need to reload things in reverse, so cx23885, and then the VDR software. it has something todo with the v4l framework and not specifica...

Re: Future of the Linux-Driver

im not sure if anyone else agrees, understands, or has put forward the idea, but i've been speaking with some users & developers outside of this forums/TBS specific circle, and they've come to the conclusion that the TBS drivers are built very poorly. since this has been writen in the Public dom...

Re: TBS drivers break LIRC

after a few days of diagnosing and many reinstalls, it seems to be an issue with the TBS drivers and their incompatibility with LIRC. i've been in contact with mythtv (via their user mailing list), and the Lirc developer has confirmed things should just work... which they do right up untill the TBS ...

TBS drivers break LIRC

i've had this issue with the last 2 kernel releases from TBS; the 2.6.x and 2.8.x kernel releases. i have a 'mceusb' IR reciever (windows media center IR Reciever in plain words), and LIRC works fine off the bat on both mythbunu 10.10, and 11.04. When i install either of the TBS drivers (dated 24-10...

Re: Asus AT3IONT-I + Mythbuntu crashes with TBS6981

1. System will lockup after watching live T.V for a period of time 2. System will not lock on to a channel and shows no signal. If the system is restarted chances are it will work O.K second time around. 1) try adding a fan onto the CPU HSF - even if it's temporary, then it will prove one way or th...

Re: Drivers for 2.6.38 / Ubuntu 11.04

awww that's awesome! the day my mythbuntu install dies, along come 11.04 (or rather the release 11.04 kernel) drivers! :D thanks TBS, although it's a shame it's taken (imo) a considerable time to get them published with little info on even a rough ETA. that said, i hope the delay has been down to a ...
