Re: No 6928 mentioned in 130927

Hi wa7kgx. What about "lspci -v" as root ? Are there some multimedia controller? Regards. I get this in the lspci -v output. I don't know if it is the 6928 or not. 06:00.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7160 (rev 03) Subsystem: Device 6928:0001 Flags: bus master, fast de...

6928 and dvbdream crashing Win 7 64 bit

I had been running dvbdream with an older tbsdtv card without problems recording NASA Select until the card died. I replaced the dead card with a 6928 and installed the Windows drivers. Since upgrading the card dvbdream has been unstable. Dvbdream always stops working while watching and recording NA...

Re: No 6928 mentioned in 130927

lspci -v as root didn't show anything interesting, but with dmesg|less
I was able to find mention of the 6928.

Is there a blind scan program for Linux?

I am trying to use the 6928 under Linux because Dvbdream always
crashes under 64 vit Win 7. I use it for recording NASA select.

No 6928 mentioned in 130927

Following the instructions on the TBS web site, I downloaded the 130927 Linux driver zip file. I could not find any mention of my tbs6928 card. I followed the printed instructions to compile and install for 64 bit Linux. After reboot there is no dmesg indication of cx anything. I tried this on both ...

Lossless editor for HD .TD files

Can you recommend a loseless editor for HD .TS files such as
those obtained from NASA Select HD or PBS HD? Something
like gopchop perhaps?

All I need is to cut and (possibly) paste, no filters or effects.
Preferably freeware.

Remote Control

The remote control works fine with the old Blazevideo that came with the product CD.

It does not work with the current Blaze version or with Dream.

How do I make the remote work with these programs???

DMX741U C/Ku LNBF

This is a highly regarded C and Ku band Universal LNBF that has been out for a year now. It switches between C and Ku with diseqc. It switches polarity with voltage. It switches Ku LO frequencies with 22 kHz. The 8920 spec claims support for all of these signaling methods. But how to get Dream or Bl...
