Current USB devices are: - wireless keyboard & mouse - always been on system - Infra-red remote receiver - used with Windows MCE-compatible remote (TBS one not used) - QBox II - KWorld 499U DVB-T dual tuner - added a couple of weeks ago The IR Receiver may have been connected when I ran the Driv...

Re: Windows 7 x64 blue screen after hypernate(solved)

I should add that, on PC restart after a crash, the QBox is unusable ("USB Device is not recognised") until unplugged and re-connected.

I am using the latest driver - 2.0.4.6

Re: Windows 7 x64 blue screen after hypernate(solved)

I have a similar problem, though I use the Sleep (S3) function with the PC in Standby. Sometimes when coming out of Sleep, sometimes at other times, the system will crash. I tried to do some investigation. The crashes are mostly "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE", code 0x9F, caused by Kernel. Wi...

Re: Choppy Playback

Which codecs are you using? I found WMC would not play HD due to audio codec issues. Try another application, as requested.

Re: Q Box S2 - W7 Installation issues

I tried 2.4.6 for a few days but had 3 BSODs and a "USB device stopped working", so rolled back to 2.4.5 version posted in these forums. --- Update 14 Sep 11 I don't think the driver roll-back worked completely, as Device Manager was showing "2.0.4.0" in one place and "2.0.4...

Re: Q Box S2 - W7 Installation issues

I have Windows7 x64 and same drivers. BSODs were common until I changed one of the Power settings - I think it was "USB selective suspend". Even so, I take care to avoid disconnecting QBox while PC is out of standby (except through "Safely Remove Hardware"). If an app can't see t...

Re: no signal on SD channels with symbol rate of 27500

I'd have suspected the multiswitch if band-switching is a problem, but maybe not if you can get high-band transponders on another receiver. The lower quality is a bit suspicious, though. Maybe try a different multiswitch port? At any rate, bypass the multiswitch - connecting the QBox direct to one o...

Re: freeze and loss of signal in 6920

@jw300 do you in short mean that DVBViewer Pro reports signal quality as 98% while at the same time other applications report lower signal quality? thanks, i just want to know that i understand you correctly. Yes, that is correct. 98% is the constant value reported on other apps as "Signal Str...

Re: Problem with DVBviewer's signal quality meter

DVBViewer Pro doesn't report signal quality, only strength. Use Transedit instead, or DVBViewer GE.

Re: Power supply interference

The interference will only be seen when the LNB is connected, when more power is being drawn. Another user in this sub-forum reports interference with MW radio reception (same frequencies as ADSL), so that's at least 3 of us. From memory, the router stats suggested the interference was mainly affect...
