I have tried to install the driver V1.92.2 on new Ubuntu 10.10 (kernel v. 2.6.35.22), but without of any success.
That is not wonder, since your driver supports kernel up to 2.6.34 version only.

So, my question is simple - when ?

Could not get TBS6980 working with vdr (and with yavdr) 1.7.10 and 1.7.14, with the both v1.54 and v1.88 linux drivers. So, I just wonder, if it is because of the fact that TBS6980 linux drivers delivered in a binary (pre-compiled) form, but not as "open source" one (there is an option in ...
