Re: Parameter Reading Reliability

..then please explain why on 37W, 12514V the output mux is constant (tsreader) but according to the modulation parameters it's not though it says single input.

Parameter Reading Reliability

I've noticed that the modulation parameters shown by CrazyScan can be different for repeated tests. Here are 2 readings of 37,5W, 12509H. 37W_12509H_16APSK.PNG 37W_12509H_QPSK.PNG ..apparently the bit rate is calculated with the shown parameters and does not necessarily represents the actual rate.

DiSEqC bug in TBS REcorder

Though I'm still very disappointed by the poor performance of TBS8921 I've purchased a TBS6925. This card has an excellent performance though only by means of the outstanding 3rd party tool CrazyScan. A big up to @crazycat! :) Again, tools provided by TBS are of poor quality and buggy. According to ...

Re: 6925 with TSREADER??

TSReader doesn't send 22kHz tone which means no reception of high band transponders. Because the 6925 works with other applications, there must be a bug in TSReader_BDASource_TBS6925.dll. No problems with low band transponders like the one in @satesco's screen shot or with streaming from CrazyScan ;)

Re: 6925 with TSREADER??

On most of the screen shots I see a lot of stream errors (e.g. 117 continuity errors in 35s on astra 11362H). Is there a problem because it should be 0 errors especially on dth satellites!

Re: About BSOD

..yes, it's showing the change back to normal. But normal means in this case blocked, not working anymore after a blind scan (with no result) has been performed! My signal is good enough for numerous transponders on many satellites. Even the poor TBS card receives plenty channels though maybe not as...

Re: About BSOD

..after deinstallation and reinstallation of the driver no error message anymore but the result is still always zero channels . After closing the blindscan tool the card won't respond to any tuning command by any dvb application (dvbviewer, altdvb, tsreader). The card has to be resetted (device mang...

Re: About BSOD

About blind scan... Though no BSOD occurred the yield of all scans is nada! Besides after changing diseqc the card went to sleep. Only after deactivating/activating the card in the device manager the TBS8921 went back to work. What a progress since I posted about poor performance in January of this ...

Re: About BSOD

hi do you have used the latest driver on downloader page: http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/8921/TBS8921Driver_V1.0.0.7.rar thanks That's exactly what I did. I also installed the new blind scan tool 3.0.0.5. No BSOD anymore but things turned from bad to worse. The performance with low SR transponders ...
