Driver with NO remote suport?

Postby Chuck35 » Sat Oct 30, 2010 8:17 am

I run Win 7 x64, things are finally working well. I have but 1 remaining issue. When I type on my wireless keyboard, often the device crashes. This happens in several apps. I was hoping it might be trivial to compile a driver that had no remote support, or some way to disable it.
Thanks,
Chuck

Update...resolved!
I was assuming the interference was via the usb receiver for my keyboard. I just noticed the IR port on the Qbox. A small piece of black tape seems to have cured my issue.

I have the same problem. When i use TV or MCE remote near QBOX2, the device crashes.
Maybe it can help - at all IR is works with original remote, but I find why it make device unresponceble - it cause when I repeat pushing the same button very fast . When i work slowly with original remote - it works ok for long time, but enought to to begin work with separate MCE remote near QBOX2 - device crashes (it because my MCE has very fast repeat when i holding button)
So I think QBOX2 freeze's when try to recognize multiple IR signals in their range.
For now I enclose IR peephole with something black.
Driver that had no remote support will be good.
