WHS compatability

WHS compatability

Postby ldk1 » Mon Jan 17, 2011 9:53 pm

I know that there isn't anything that directly states that it's compatible with Windows Home Server (and so I wouldn't expect it to be supported), but it seems to install and work with the XP drivers albeit with a very slight periodic stutter on panning shots (both SD & HD). I'm using it through DVB link to a Win7 ION based PC as a virtual tuner. I just wondered if there was any obvious reason why there should be any issues with this setup.

As a second WHS note. The construction of your USB tuner is far superior to the plastic ones around and because of that is better with heat dissipation. There seem to be people crying out to have WHS as a tuner farm with this type of device, but no manufacturer seems to state WHS compatability....are you missing an opportunity?
